All our dogs are bred with the intent of improving the breed and must have a great temperament. All puppies come from high quality field trial dogs with strong patronage to the Palm Glades Shorthairs. While not all parents have become field champions they are well on there way to finishing their championship. All puppies are
whelped inside and handled from birth to properly socialize them. The parents of the puppies are DNA profiled and AKC registered. All parents hips are x-rayed and submitted to the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, Inc for an evaluation to confirm there is no evidence of hip dysplasia.
We occasionally have puppies for sale and I personally guarantee the health of all puppies when they are purchased. Several started and broke dogs are likely to be available. All puppies are exposed to birds at 7 wks of age. I personally train all started and broke dogs that are offered for sale. With over 20 years
of wild bird hunting and AKC horseback field trial experience my trained dogs should meet even the finest connoisseur of classy and stylish bird dogs. I take the greatest care in developing a dogs full potential. All my “broke dogs” are steady to wing and shot and retrieve to hand. Started dogs are
acclimated to gun fire and have been exposed to plenty of birds. |
