We carefully choose our breedings to maintain excellent dogs for field and home. We DO NOT breed for color. We can not guarantee that a particular coat color or pattern will be available.
Puppies are reserved with a deposit. Your deposit confirms the order you will pick out/ pick up your puppy. Please read all reservation requirements in “Puppy Reservation Information” on our General page.
The cost of the puppy is reflected in the quality of the parents, quality of the puppy, and dedication to raising them in our home.
The price for a puppy is $1500
($300 deposit + $1200 at pickup)

About this Pairing
Shadydale’s Mighty Fine Pete “Pete” is a beautifully built Field bred English Cocker. He’s full of desire, hard flushing, exceptional retriever and always gives 110% effort at his job. He’s effective as a flushing dog with pointing breeds, as a close working gun dog, and as a companion for retrieving ducks and doves. He meets our high standards of health, disposition, temperament, and outstanding field attributes.
WFK Annabelle’s Back in Black “Onyx” is a beautiful Field bred English Cocker Spaniel. She has tremendous drive, excellent nose, loves to work. Lovely disposition and temperament — Gets along well with everyone and all our other dogs. Loves to retrieve on land and water.
Pete and Onyx puppies will carry on the traditions of excellence in the field and family. PUPPIES SHOULD BE AVAILABLE IN DECEMBER, based on previous heat cycles for Onyx. DATES ARE ESTIMATES ONLY!! But history leads us to believe to be generally accurate. $300 deposit $1200 at pickup. Total sales price of $1500.

How Do I Reserve a Puppy?
Puppy Reservation Information

Puppies are reserved with a deposit. Your place (or number) on the reservation list will be assigned to you – based on the order of the deposits received and the choice of genders selected.For example, if you said you wanted a male…….you’d have 1st or 2nd or 3rd, etc. pick of the male puppies based on the order of the deposits we received for males.

Puppy pickup is by appointment in reservation order which we will arrange with you. We can’t send you a photo of your specific puppy because we won’t know which ones have been picked! Often we will place photos of the entire litter on our webpage or facebook feed. Please check there to get an overall look at the puppies

All puppies go home with their 1st vaccination, full and complete AKC registration, and a welcome package with tips for enjoying your new puppy. Our puppies make a visit to our veterinarian before they go to their new homes

Please verify with us by email or phone before making a deposit. We can let you know if there is a puppy available and where you will be on the waitlist.
Deposit Information - Must read!

Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE EXCEPT in the event we aren’t able to provide you the agreed upon puppy because the litter does not produce the number of puppies/sex that your deposit is holding. For example:
You have the 3rd pick of the male puppies but only 2 male puppies are born. In this example you may choose to have your deposit refunded, elect to transfer the deposit to another upcoming litter or apply the deposit to a female puppy if one is available.
