Terms and Conditions of Puppy Deposit for German Shorthaired Pointers
By placing a deposit and reserving a puppy from Walker’s Farm and Kennel (we or seller) and you (buyer) agree to the following terms and conditions:
Puppy deposits are non-refundable.
By putting a deposit down, you are agreeing to purchase a puppy from the stated or upcoming litter. Deposits for the puppy are non-refundable EXCEPT in the event we can’t provide you the agreed upon puppy (i.e. the litter does not produce the number of puppies/sex that your deposit is holding and you have the 3rd pick of the male puppies but only 2 male puppies are born). In this example you may choose to have your deposit refunded, elect to transfer the deposit to another upcoming litter or apply the deposit to a female puppy if one is available.
Please remember that when you place a deposit, we will hold that puppy for you. In return, we have agreed not to sell it to another buyer. We DO NOT make refunds based on color or coat patterns. Buyer understands that there is no guarantee to size, weight, and/or color of a puppy at maturity. We guarantee the health of the puppy for 1 year. To ensure the puppies are healthy for their new homes, they will have received their first puppy vaccination and worming at appropriate intervals as well as a vet check at 6 weeks of age.
Balance due is payable on the day of puppy pick-up.
The balance is due on the puppy pick-up date.
Puppy Pick-up Date.
The puppy pick-up date is based on seller’s estimation of when the puppy will be naturally weaned and ready to be placed in its new home, which is approximately 7 weeks of age. seller reserves the right to retain the puppy past the original agreed upon pick-up date if it is found to be beneficial to the health and well-being of the puppy. we will schedule your pick-up date soon after the puppies are born and will notify you if that date must change to a later date. if for some reason you must pick-up your puppy after the established pick-up date, please notify seller so an alternative pick-up date can be scheduled.
Puppies are sold with FULL registration papers.
Buyer understands that the puppy is being sold with non-limited AKC registration papers (i.e. all breeding rights are available on your puppy). We will provide you with the necessary documents to register your puppy. The buyer is responsible for the AKC registration and fees.
Our Right to Refuse a Sale
We reserve the right to void this transaction and refund the deposit if we are made aware of any reason why the buyer might not provide a suitable environment for a puppy.
